Bralee Laodumrongkul (nickname Prim) is a Thai designer based in London and Bangkok. She is currently studying BA Design at Goldsmiths, University of London, where her practice is shaped by experimentation, material exploration, and sensory thinking.
Her work is often driven by the five senses, particularly texture and scent, alongside themes of memory, emotion, and past experiences. She is drawn to materials that are fragile and easily altered or lost, finding beauty in their vulnerability, and in how impermanence can make objects feel more intimate and precious. This interest frequently leads her to work with paper, zines, and tangible, hand-made objects.
She enjoys curating elements together, arranging images, objects, and materials in ways that provoke thought or create quiet, aesthetically resonant moments. Alongside this, illustration and drawing are an ongoing part of her practice, both as standalone works and as tools for thinking through ideas.
Prim values exploration as part of her process. Rather than fixing outcomes too early, she lets projects develop organically, learning from each stage and refining ideas along the way.
Outside of her practice, she loves collecting silver jewellery, trinkets, and metal objects, as well as photographs from vintage photo booths. Her favourite muse is her dog, Salmon, a Pomeranian whose presence informs a way of noticing small gestures, pauses, and everyday tenderness.
